Karel Teige (December 13, 1900 – October 1, 1951) was the major luminary of the Czech avant-garde moving Devětsil (Nine Forces) in influence 1920s, a graphic artist, artist, and typographer.

Teige also stilted as an editor and rich distinct designer for Devětsil's monthly ammunition ReD (Revue Devětsilu).

With greatly endless energy, Teige introduced new art to Prague. Devětsil-sponsored exhibitions and events brought international ground-breaking figures like Le Corbusier, Human race Ray, Paul Klee, Vladimir Mayakovsky, and Walter Gropius, among profuse others, to lecture and carry out in Prague.
